Hi Jose,

Below please find comments from one of our HR guys.

If they want the user to create an automatic locked entry for infotype =
2001 they do this through the profile. You will enter an indicator on the =
authorisation level of infotype 2001 (can't exactly remember but I think =
it is an S) and then whoever has this profile assigned to them will only =
be able to create a locked entry for 2001. Just remember though if you =
are using workflow, how are you going to unlock the record or will the =
manager do this manually?

The suggestion is that the approver have the authorisation to unlock the =
record on approval.

Hi every-one

We want to create a leave workflow, using the ABSENCE object - the user
enters his info through PA61 IT2001 and saves. This must then be approved =
by
the manager. To get this to work, we would need to lock the infotype on
saving. I know some of the other infotypes one can lock for eg IT0008, but
I'm not aware of being able to do this with IT2001. Does any-one perhaps
have a solution?

Regards

Jos=E9
