Hi Michael,

we just upgraded to Basis Package 28, and SWI2_DIAG works as before. =
Our
other packages are HR 42, Application 27, and ABA 27. Could it be that =
it's
something else causing your error, like another OSS note? In note =
496403 it
says that that is a supplementary note to note 456168.. maybe something =
went
wrong applying other notes..

Betreff: SWI2_DIAG - Diagnosis of Work items containing errors

We are on 4.6c and have just applied Basis support pack SAPKB46C28. =
This
has caused
a problem with the above transaction ( a dump is issued when ABAP =
RSWIDIAG
is called from the txn
due to incompatible i/face parameters).

There is a 'fix' for this problem in support pack SAPKB46C30 (OSS Note
496403) however it now means
that the txn no longer uses the standard selection screen (from =
RSWINTRO)
that is used by other txn's:-
SWI2_ADM1, SWI2_DEAD, SWI2_DURA, SWI2_FREQ. The fix means that the txn
uses very basic
selection criteria ( a time select option and task parameter) rather =
than
the options previously provided
(monitoring period, work item type, task filter).

I am about to raise this with SAP but was wondering whether anyone has
raised this yet with SAP as
I don't believe this is a suitable solution
