Role resolution: Nobody Found

[Zmudzin,Tomasz,VEVEY,GL-DS/DM]

As you already use a function module for role resolution,
 
1. pass the Wf initiator to the FM as input parameter (check role
parameters)
2. within the FM - before returning the result set check whether it is
non-empty.
   - If it's not empty, pass the result.
   - If no agents found, return the workflow initiator.

  If no agent is found for a task, I want to post a workitem to
WF_Initiator's inbox.
 how do i go about it?
 how in WFlow I know that role resolution has failed.
I am using Function module for Role Resolution..
