Hi Mark/Neeraja,
Yes you are correct there is currently no way to configure a call to
your own template other than a modification.
We would really like the HR guys to change this so we would appreciate
it if you would request this formally via OSS and user groups.
We have asked for this already, but the more customers we have
asking about it, the more likely this option will be made available
in future patches/releases.
However in the meantime you will still probably need to do a mod
or create your own custom-built alternative as Neeraja has done.

If you look at the program SAPMWS20000081H, it is called by transaction
WS20000081 which is associated with Internet service WS20000081. You can
create your own Internet service.

I did not copy this workflow because there was too much there that we did
not want - I created my own, with its own module pool and a custom Internet
service.

Neeraja

G'day Gurus,

Has anyone copied and implemented a bespoke version of WS20000081 (Leave
Request with HTML)??

This workflow has no triggering events and so must be called directly via
the application. I can find no reference to any config that will allow me
to specify my own copied version. Surely someone has done this before. The
delivered error handling in 46C in this Workflow is not very elegant.

If there is no way to tell the system to use a different template, I
presume Repair of the object is the only solution. Is upgrading a repaired
WF any more painful than other types of development object??

Many thanks,
Mark Pyc
