Are there any customizing differences in the triggering events enabled?

Since we don't use this object service (Start workflow) I haven't really
looked into it, but I thought the displayed workflows was determined by the
import container elements in the workflow tasks so you wouldn't have to do
anything to (yes, I have blue eyes).

Actually, looking up the help for object services (and selecting) Start
workflow provided the following information:
This is used for starting workflows that use the object. All suitable
workflows automatically determine the system and are offered for execution.

Prerequisites
-------------
The SAP System contains active workflows that fulfill the following
prerequisites:

They must be allowed to start the workflow.
The workflow is only allowed to have the object as an obligatory import
parameter.

/ ! \ Tasks that can be executed in the dialog are not included

Who needs a GUI when we have ASCII art :-)
PS: It is not a Christmas tree - it is a warning sign

>From this it seems that perhaps the agent specification on the workflow
task would be a good place to start looking, since the import parameters
should be identical.

dear workflow people

system: sap r3 ver 4.6c patch 30

main workflow is for wbs elements
the business object is bus2054

the standard transaction for viewing this object is cj13

inside this transaction, you can choose from the menu 'system-services for
object'

when choosing this option, a toolbox with buttons appears, from which you
can branch to workflow related functions

this is one example of what such a great product sap r3 is !

our problem: the function workflow-start workflow works only on the dev and
not in prod system

basically the systems look very much a like, does anybody have an idea
where to look for help?

there is only one workflow we want to be able to start via this function,
the name is ws90100004 general workflow

thank you very much for your help
