the field you quote is not in table VBUK. Please check.
 
I create events for block changes in sales documents with status =
management,
object vbk. Check with your SD functional consultant on the status =
schemas
used, and which status you can use.

In a fork with 2 branches one have a activity task of subworkflow in it =
and
other a wait for event step with release event.
when I release a credit blocked sales order with trans VKM3 there is no
effect on wait for event step
but if i create event through trans SWUE it works fine
 
The Release event is created by change event with restricting field
VBUK_CMGST_NEW =3D 'D'
 
so where do i look for things correct.
