Rise an Event

We have lots of problems with WF triggering in the EntrySheet transacti=
on (ML81)
in 4.0b. This is a very poorly implemented transaction. The transaction=
is a
multi-screen transaction which can be saved from a few different screen=
s, even
if entry is incomplete. The event BUS2091.CREATED is only triggered if t=
he SES is
saved from a particular screen, and does not get triggered when saved f=
rom other
screens. For instance, it is possible to save the SES with zero quantit=
y. If the
user then changes the SES and enters a quantity, then the event is not =
raised.
You can test this yours, after turning on the Event trace.
The SES business object supports only the event CREATED. There are no C=
HANGED or
SIGNIFICANTLYCHANGED or RELEASED, which could be used to terminate pend=
ing
workflows, when a SES is deleted, changed , released asynchronously etc=
. This
also causes a mess requiring the WF Administrator to cancel unnneeded W=
F. We
have written a report to examine the SES table (ESSR) for unreleased W=
F which
have no pending WF, and then raise the event CREATED. We run this repor=
t
periodically.
Unfortunately SAP has not improved the SES transaction and WF even in 4=
.6c. We
are planning to develop a Web-based screen to enter SES to replace the =
SAP ML81
transaction.

We have created a WorkFlow using Object type BUS2091 and Event CREATED,=
during Development and QAS System everithing seems to be ok; but in
Production we have the next problem:
Some times the Event is not rised, so the Workflow is not triggered
We have verified this by checking the Event Log versus table ESSR and w=
e
can see more Entry Sheets created than times of Worflows triggered
Would you please give me some tip to look at??
Note: I have tried SWEL and can see no trace for the entrysheets create=
d in
that lapse of time
By the other hand, when the Event is raised, the WorkFlow works Properl=
y
