Inquiry: method to clear completed workitems from inbox besid es a rchival?

This sounds a bit fishy to me;
if the workitems are completed, they should
already be disappearing from the users' inboxes.
 
If you can still see them, that implies that
the either the termination event isn't being raised,
or that there's a problem with your WF-BATCH user.
 
If you're using RSWWWIDE to search for completed
items, this may be why you're only getting 100 returns;
the true workitem status is probably 'in process'.
 
Check customising in SWU3 in the first instance;
the event viewer through SWLD may also prove handy!
 
If you don't mind me asking,
what workflow are you using anyway?
