Transports of Workflows/Tasks

Hi All,
 
We are just starting workflow and transported our first workflow into our =
QNA environment for testing.  We found that any tasks that are general =
tasks in the DEV environment lost their "general task status" when =
transported into the QNA environment, is this normal or have we set =
something up incorrectly? =20
