Tom!
Thanks a bunch! I also discovered that the wizard's entries were made to
this transaction - Very Useful!!

FYI and in case someone else needs the information at some point:
1) BTE 00002213 should be linked if you are intrested in the 'FIPP.Created'
event for document parking.
2) from transaction FIBF>>Environment>>Info System P/S, you can view and
copy the templates for the function modules you need to create. Just
generate your object key and insert the actual function for event creation
(f.ex SWE_EVENT_CREATE) .

Best Regards,
Lola.

Lola,

Try transaction FIBF. Step 1) Use menu option "Settings >> Products >> of
a customer" to create a new entry for your FIPP enhancement. Don't
activate it yet. Step 2) Choose "Settings >> P/S Function Modules >> of a
customer". Associate your BTE 00001050 with a function module that you
will create. Step 3) Create your function module and raise the event via
ABAP within it. Step 4) Go back to "Settings >> Products >> of a customer"
to activate the BTE.

I'm not familiar with the particular wizard you reference, so there may be
a solution there that I don't know about.

Regards,
Tom

Hi joycelyn,
Thanks for your pointer. I already used this wizard.... I even implemented
note 156051 to fill the BTE table for the wizard. The problem with the
wizard approach is that it does not provide for the linkage of FIPP events
(4.6 doc gives a list of all the BTE's linkable with wizard). My guess is
there must exist an alternative method of linking a BTE for a given object
type.

Lola.

Lola,
Use transaction SWU_EWBTE ... it's a workflow wizard and is
fairly self explanatory. If you can't find any doco in the 4.6C help
look in the SAP Web Application Server help on http://help.sap.com

Subject: Creating object events from BTE

Hi,
I am working on version 4.6C. I have created an event linkage for BTE
"00001050" using the standard workflow wizard for event creation , but when
I create a "parked" invoice no event is generated (viewing the event log).
I assume this is because I need BTE for FIPP?

So, how can I create the workflow events for FIPP (I noticed these are all
released) does this mean they only need to be activated? Is there anyone
who could help with this....

Thanks in advance,
Lola.
