standard role 157

Hi Ronen,
If you have an alternative evaluation path you want to use
then best way is to create your own rule based on function module
RH_GET_STRUCTURE and the evaluation path.
There are some examples of this in the standard rules ...
there's one called something like WfOwnOrgUn that finds the org unit
of a user using an evaluation path - can't remember the number off
the top of my head but shouldn't be too hard to find via transaction PFAC.

Subject: standard role 157

hello and a happy new year to everybody,

i am using the standard role 157 to determinate the manager of user who
has a workitem in his/her inbox for deadline monitoring purposes.

for this role to work, i must assign 'chief positions' in the org
structure.

my question: what other standard role can i use to get the org unit 1
step above in the hierarchy ? (without having to use 'chief position')

thank you
best regards

ronen fox
