ESS workflow w2 reprint & Salary verification

Hi,
Can anyone tell me the steps required  to make ws010000090 or WS01000045
work on ESS. When I try to execute I get the error message "no task assigned
with specified number". It's canceling in sap_wapi_start_workflow. Does  the
tasks and workflow need to be some table??? Please explain. Thanks.
