Notification of completed workitem to several receipients

Hello,
 
I want to send completed work item notification to several receipients.
I am trying to accomplish this by building up a multiline container element
and calling it as expression in the notification tab. But I get an error
'the element has invalid type or reference'.
Is this the right thing to do ?
