Adding a task that captures a text comment

The users didn't like that so I ended up forcing the SELFITEM with the method to attach a note as a subsequent method for the workflow task.

Do any of you know an object / method that can be used in a task that will
allow the agent to add text comments that will then be stored and forwarded
