Workflow from message

It actually doesn't trigger the workflow.  What you have to do is to click on the message you created the workflow for.  On the message screen you will see a workflow icon on the top right - press that and see what happens

We are on 4.6C.
 
I used the wizard to start a workflow from message. When the message is
output by the system, I would expect the workflow to get triggered, but it
does not.
 
The wizard has created a workflow but I don't see any linkage anywhere. Can
anyone tell me what I should be looking for?
