Grouped According to Sort Key Feature of Workflow Inbox

Hello Everyone:
 
I have a question regarding the Grouped According to Sort Key feature in the
workflow inbox.  We recently upgraded to 4.6C from 3.1H and our users were
managing their workflow inbox using this sorting option.  Could anyone tell
me what the difference is in the setup of these sort keys between 3.1H and
4.6C?  Any information would be highly appreciated.
