Auto-forwarding - updating email addresses

Hi Nicholas,
  Facing the same problem when correcting the e-mail
ID. Right now we are usign the work around to solve
this problem. New assignments are assigned to the user
ID and select the type to be internet e-mail (U). This
will look for the e-mail ID in the User Master (SU01)
if the e-mail ID is wrong then it easy to change it
there.
  It will be great to have the function module that
will enable correcting of the SO36 assignment.
