Resubmission not possible

Hello all,
 
Im trying to resubmit a workitem and I have the error message:
 
-Resubmission not possible
 
Procedure
 
    o   Check the error which occurred (via the work item history)
 
    o   Check the permissibility of the resubmission date.
 
    o   Check the status of the specified work item.
 
 
I would be extremely grateful for any help or hints. Thank you in advance.
