Limit on Workflow Inbox?

I would guess that you need to look at exactly how the workflows are
triggered. Assuming all 200-something Workflows are triggered in one logical
unit of work (e.g. while saving ONE document), your system might simply run
out of steam to create all workflows in one go. That would explain why they
trigger when you clear some.. have a word with your Basis people and look
into the details of the system log entries together, that will most likely
get you a step further. sorry to be so vague, but without more information
it's hard to narrow down the problem.

Subject: Limit on Workflow Inbox?

Hello all,

Can anybody tell me if there is a limit on the number of workitems a user
can have in their inbox?

In our Production system we have a situation where we know that 238 WFs
should have triggered but only 232 have. In the System Log (SM21) we've
found that 6 rollback errors have occurred at the time when the WF would
have triggered.

We had a similar experience in our test system. When the inbox was clearedwe
fond that all the WFs were triggered successfully. This leads me to believe
that there is a limit maintained somewhere, but where?

Any ideas would be appreciated,
