Change Document Object for Business Object Type USER

Hi Drosoula,
I've played with this a little before.
You shouldn't need to set up your own change document object.
There are basically two parts to user creation if you are using HR.
1. The HR infotype operation to "create" the user details - this can
be configured in the T588W/X tables as usual for HR events
2. The USER.CLONED event - this event is raised whenever a SU01 user master
is created or changed - but you can always check the creation date on the
user master to figure out if the user is a new one.
Bad news is this is all off the top of my memory and I can't remember
how the USER CLONED event is turned on - possibly the IMG config.
Try OSS for CLONED and application component Bc-bmt-wfm.

You don't mention whether your training dept. is using SAP, assuming they
are and your user's have HR master data records you could use the hiring
action as the trigger. Alternatively you could use "Setting Up Mail
Connections for Infotype Changes"

Hi folks,
 
I've just started working with workflow and am hoping you can help.  I'm
trying to build a workflow which enables a notification to be sent to our
Training department when a new user is created in SAP (4.6C).
 
I thought I would try and set up the event creation with a Wizard (SWU_EWCD
- Change Documents), using business object type USER.  However, I encounter
the following error:
 
No change document object for business object type USER
Message no. WA 160
Diagnosis
You want to create an event linkage for a business object type with a change
document object. However, no compatible change document object is available
for the specified business object type.
System Response
The linkage cannot be defined.
Procedure
The business object type required may have a change document object with an
incompatible key. Enter a problem message and send it to SAP (BC-BMT-WFM).
Specify all information regarding the business object type/change document
object (name, key structure, etc.) in this problem message.
There may be no change document object for the business object type
specified. If a change document object is to be defined, contact SAP with a
problem message as well.

I've had a look at the available change document objects in SWED and yes,
there is no change doc object for business object type USER.
 
I would appreciate any feedback/advice you can give me on this.
