Is it possible to send an attached document created in a prev ious step via "send mail"

Colin,
If you are on Release 4.6 you can process the MS Word document directly in
your workflow. You assign the template to the workflow definition and when
the workflow runs any participant can view or edit the workflow.
You can even use workflow variables (container elements) in the document.
 
The beauty of this method is that the document is stored on the server and
not on the PC.
 
There is a development news which describes this in a bit more detail (but
not as much as the online-help).

I have a wokflow which creates a word document from a template. then
depending on a user descision
i want to send the document to the  workflow initiator.  Is this possible
using the standard send mail method.
If Not is there another way.
 
As i have only being using workflow for a few week any help would be
greatly appreciated
