Using XML BAPI's and capturing XML documents in Webflow

I'm lead to believe SAP is working closely with the HR-XML Consortium.
You can checkout their website at  http://www.hr-xml.org.
This organisation is aiming to standardise the use of XML's for HR.
 
This might help you with how to design your XMLs if you want it to be compatible
with other organisations.

Hi,
 
We will be using a product called 'Webmethods' which can pass an XML
document to SAP.   We are also going to be using Workflow for some of our
Maintenance Tasks.  XML keeps coming up as the preferred method of passing
data to SAP for both workflow and as part of interfaces.  Does anyone have
any pointers on using XML for Workflow and/or as incoming documents?  Does
one need to know JAVA to interpret incoming XML etc..?
