Hi,

also you can use a solution with an interface table and a periodically
running Lotus Notes agent as background user. He runs against the SAP
System, read and udate entries from the SAP interface table and send =
mails
to the user. The user has to make some actions and it goes back to the
LN-agent and to the SAP system.=20

Advantages: - better performance,=20
            - you are able to involve Non-SAP user,
            - no rollout of LSX extention at client side

One question to Alan:

Could you tell me some facts about the licences model from SAP in this =
case.
We are able to involve user without any SAP login. Is there an special
licences model available?

Best regards,

Jan

Hello!

We use SAP Workflow (46B) and Lotus Notes (4.6.2a). We have integrated =
the
LSX
software but we have very bad performance problems with the automatic
refresh
function every night! (about 600 hundred users will get workitems)

Our solution is following:
Every user get an e-mail from the the workflow to click the refresh =
button
in
the folder "SAP Workflow" manuelly. After this the user have there new
workitems
in the folder and they can execute them.
The advantage is that lotus notes isn't locked one time for a longer =
period.

Maybe you can also use this solution.

Best regards
