dynamic work item description with a virtual attribut

Hi Jan,

Since a test of the object attribute works correctly, it may be that the
database is not updated at the time the virtual attribute code is executed.

For tests purposes, you can try creating a WF contatiner element and adding
a step to do a container move of the virtual attribute. Then use that
container element in your WI text.
This will let you determine if there is a DB update lag causing the problem.
Unfortunately you must transport to test in QA.

Subject: dynamic work item description with a virtual attribut

Hi all,

we have one problem with a virtual attribute that we use as work item
description. In the workflow we are using a virtual attribute to determine a
dynamic work item description, depending on the company code of a parked
document. I've implemented it at the development system in a subtype of fipp
and inserted this attribut as description for a special task. The attribut
for the work item description in the task of the workflow works in the
development system, no problem. After transport to the quality management
system the description of the virtual atribute is not available. Only the
name of the attribute is displayed. On the qualitiy management system we've
tested the object type with the current instance. The attribute is correct
calculated. But only in test of the object type, not in the workflow.

What is wrong here? Wy is the attribute correct calculated when whe test the
object but not correct calculated in the workflow? This happens only in the
QM system, not in the DEV system. Did we lose something during the transport
of the task.

Any help is very appreciated.
