PO release WF scenario!!!

Hi Crew,
 
Am currently working on the PO release scenario (46B) and have a couple of
questions...   Firstly, how do you cancel the release i.e. release
cancellation, and trigger the event RESET for business object BUS2012, from
the transaction ME28???   Secondly, is the terminating event RESET there for
an action external of the workflow i.e. a user cancels the release by
executing the transaction instead of executing the work item???
 
In summary, am trying to understand why the event RESET in business object
BUS2012 exists, and how it is incorporated in the whole PO release
scenario...
