Achim,

Actually, we just found that Schedule Manager is available in 46B after all!
It looks very good, and seems to be tightly integrated with or based on SAP
Business Workflow.

Thanks again for the tip.

Thanks Achim for the below.

We have only just recently upgraded to 46B and have no definite plans to do
another upgrade until 2003. We may go ahead and convert our batch over to
workflow and then over to Schedule Manager after the upgrade. It does look
ideal for the task.

Thanks again,

Peter,

sounds like the Schedule Manager could solve your problem. Available as of
46C.

I will be out of the office until August 2nd. If additional assistance
is needed, please contact Robby Welch or Alex Neary in my absence.

Thanks...

Hi All,

We are currently looking at alternative ways to manage our nightly batch
processing. One idea that we have come up with is to use workflow to
manage
our individual batch streams, submitting each job in order and using
logic
in the workflow template(s) to handle dependencies etc.

Is anyone on this list using workflow to do this? If so, do you have
any
tips / tricks / things to avoid?

Any feedback would be very much appreciated.

Kind regards
