Hi Diana,

There is plenty of info in the R3 Library, however will give you a =
summary
of one way to do it...

On the PC right click on the Outlook icon and select properties.
Click the Add button and select SAP MAPI Service.
Complete the details as you go, am sure you are capable.
If you click on the message tab (I think, just check each of them if =
there
is not a message tab), and there will be a checkbox for workflow, check =
it.

Once you have completed that, close your Outlook and when you open it =
you
will be prompted to log on to the System you choose, and there will be =
an
extra inbox containing the contents of the SAP Inbox. Just remember =
you
have to set this up on every PC. If you figure out how to set it up =
using
a systems management tool, am sure there would be heaps of people who =
would
like to know.

Good luck

Good morning Paul. I am in need of installing a MAPI to make this work =
on a
project I am working on. Workitems need to be sent to Outlook in lieu =
of
SAP inbox. How do I physically make this happen? Do you have any step =
by
step instructions on what must take place??

Hi Hernan,

If you use a MAPI it is a connection between the client i.e. your PC =
and the
R3 Server, whereas using SAPConnect with SAP Exchange Connector the
connection is between the Exchange Server and the R3 Server.

Hope this explains it

I want to use Microsoft Outlook as mail tool for SAP Business Workflow,
It's the same using MAPI or SAPConnect as the interface between =
SAPOffice
and Outlook ? .

Thanks.
