Hi Fabrice,
Just to add to Arnoud's comments ....

I can't tell from your comments whether you want to use this functionality
in a role or not, but it might be helpful to know the following...

If you create a role based on function module RH_GET_STRUCTURE
and then press <ENTER>, an extra field appears in the role for you
to enter the evaluation path.

You can see an example in role number 30000011 which finds the
organizational unit of a user.

Hi Fabrice,

Possible you could use function module 'RH_GET_STRUCTURE' to see if a user
belongs to a organizational object. The relationship you want to evaluate
must be in the evaluation path (one of the parameters of this FM). The FM
can return to you the actors and if the specific org. unit is one of them,
you know the relationship is maintained.

Hope this helps.

Dear experts,

my purpose is to check if an object (for example a user) belongs to an
organizational unit.
Do you know if there is a standard function module which does this kind of
check ? (instead of
reading directly table HRP1001).
Thank you.
Regards.

Fabrice
