Performance implications of using roles based on responsibilities

Dear fellow workflowers,

Has anyone any experience with the extensive use of roles based on
responsibilities in a large scale organisational structure environment?

I plan to make use of responsibilities for an ever expanding group of
standard roles; but as our org structure will be huge I am a bit
apprehensive about resulting workflow system performance (how long does it
take to do an agent assignment for an individual work item?).

As responsibilities are tightly integrated with the org structure
functionality, and it is all stored in HRP1000 and HRP1001, I would expect
agent assignment performance implications of using this functionality
extensively in combination with a large org structure.

Any sharing of experiences, even in smaller org structures, will be very
much appreciated.

Thanks,

Jeroen
