SAPForms: Exchange-receiver has no SAP account...

Hi Jocelyn!

Thanks, but it's a MUST that someone WITHOUT an SAP account is able to =
take
part within a workflow. SAP is only used for FI/CO and noone in the
technical departments has got SAP but should be able to approve e.g.
invoices or orders.

Do you have any suggestions how the SAP-ID problem could be avoided? I'=
ve
been thinking about a simple WEB-scenario, but they still don't intend =
to
use an ITS...:-(

Hi Michael,
If you don't have a userid, the user can't be checked to see if they
are allowed to perform this task.  E.g. they could forward the workitem=

to someone else and then anyone can execute the task.
This sort of security risk is considered unacceptable therefore you
must have a userid to execute a workitem no matter where it is coming f=
rom.

Surfing through the docu and the bc602 I couldn't find the following

The idea is to send a form (some kind of approval check + textfields) t=

I think I understand sending a form to the iternet-mail address if he/s=

is maintained in SAP, but does it work as well WITHOUT a user? Can I si=

give the mail-address (perhaps out of my own table, fed by an upload re=

with data from Exchange) and get it back into the SAP? (I intend to use=
 SAP
exchange connector).

Any experience? I'm sure...
