Rel 4.6c - Problem Opening Business Workplace.

I'm starting to think that this is a GUI problem too.  I'm able to run the
FM (sinwp_workplace_create)from the ABAP workbench, or use SE30 to open the
TX and it works no problem...  ????

I have the same problem. We are upgrading to 46C and workplace is hanging.
If you run SM50 you can see that it is not running any processes in R/3. If
you debug workplace it will work, however. Why? Therefore it can be a GUI
problem. I just noticed this problem as you mentioned it so I havent come
any further.

No Short Dumps have been generated as a result of this neither.
 
This is the annoying thing, everything looks "normal" from the system's
point of view...
