Internet Mail and Lotus Notes

Hello Andre,
 
there is a dedicated mail integration product offered by Lotus: the Lotus
mail MTA for SAP R/3. you may find it on the Lotus Web site:
http://www.lotus.com/home.nsf/welcome/eizone -> SAP R/3 Integration tools
for Domino. The product contains documentation for setting up SAPConnect
and the Domino side.

Hello
 
I am trying to send emails to my Customers Lotus Notes Server.
It looks like I have to follow the following steps
 
Customizing SAPConnect
Customizing SAP Internet Gateway
Customizing Lotus Domino Software
 
Who in the group did a Lotus Notes Integration from Scratch for a
Customer who is not able to send any email to Internet addresses yet?
I am not sure what I have to customize in what sequence.
 
At the moment it would be enough if I only would send emails and no
Workitems. Do I even have to customize anything in Lotus Notes for that ?
 
Any Input on that would be great
