wf_task for choosing user of the next step needed

Hi All,
 
there's one step in the worklfow where the current user is expected to
deside manually who's the user for the next step. I found
wf_task.getlistanddispatch method. Disadvantage: You need to give a wf_task
(as objectinstance)within the binding definition. This task will be
displayed as link on the workplace next to 'objects and attachments'. It's
pretty confusing for the user.=20
My questions:=20
Does somebody know about another task to choose a user manually? or=20
How can you avoid the object to be displayed on workplace?=20
 
Help will be highly appreciated.
