How to execute a workitem (decision task) directly via an URL ?

Viveka,
 
You have to pass the workitem number from the step created (decision task)
to
the next step (e-mail) via containers.  The workitem number can then be used
in the construction of the URL.
 
Would look something like this:
 
http://&ITS&/scripts/wgate/&SERVICEID&/!?WI=&WORKITEMID&~language=&SYST-LANG
UAGE&
