Wokitem Text for Deadline Notification

Hi All,
 
I have Latest End Deadline notification set up for a workflow task.  The
problem is that the workitem text is blank.  I am able to set up the long
text and it comes through fine but no workitem text.  In the SAP
documentation it says that 'The text for notifying the agent is set by
default'.  I have looked all through the setup and config but can't find
anything.  Does anyone know how to check or change the default setting?
