Publishing an event

Hi All,
I am using MM12 for scheduling changes with material number and change
number. It records in PCDHDR as follows.
 <<...OLE_Obj...>>
 
I want to publish an event(SWEL)  based on this change document object
MATERIAL_N. I tried using SWEC and SWED to publish an event, but it won't
work. Can some one help me out from this problem.
