Office mail delete without viewing

Try to use the following menu path (inside the office Inbox):
Document-->Set Status-->Set to 'Viewed'. All selected documents will have
the status changed and will be ready to be deleted.
 
I am now at 4.0B, but I remember that on 3.0F this was already possible.
