Pur. Req Notification

Hi Raj

As for the workitem priority you can set that at workflow definition level.
In the Workflow editor doubleclick the activity you want to send as an
express workitem. Select the 'Extras'-Tab and set the Step priority to '1'
(Express).

Dart,

1. Changing workitem priority to '1' can be done only after if it is in the
Inbox. I want this to happen before it gets to the inbox. Looks like I need
to copy the std. and make changes.

I am on 40b and 'RSWUWFML' is not loaded yet .. I will have it loaded and
test it. Does this program expect to have an e-mail id in every approver's
user profile?

Thanks for your response.

Hi Raj, If you want someone to be notified of a workitem they need to
action, either:
a) If it's a sapoffice user, set the workitem priority to 1 in the workflow
step. That makes it an "express" workitem.
b) If it's an email address to be notified, set up program RSWUWFML to run
periodically, or you can get into SAPMAPI but that's
a much larger discussion.

Subject: Pur. Req Notification

Hello WF guys,

At last I got Pur.Req WF working by activating an user exit. However, I have
yet another issue i.e., I want the approver of the Req to be notified of the
workitem when it gets to the inbox for the first time. The Std. Pur.Req
"Create' event is not doing this and nor do I want to copy and customize it.
Is there any way I can do it or am I missing something in the Config?

Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks

Raj
