Launching a frontend application from the SAP web GUI

Hi,
 
within a workplace envirnoment it would be most
suitable to start an archive viewer, that does not
have to be installed locally. One option would be to
use a Java applet that is downloaded only the first
time you want to display an archived image (and with
new versions of the applet). This applet will be
provided (if available) by your optical archive
vendor.
 
Besides that. Do you want to display the document when
you start the workitem or do you want to di it
separately?
