SWE_EVENT_CREATE

Hello to you all on this wonderful autumn day,
 
I'm having some trouble creating an event for a 'self-made' object type:
In general the use of function SWE_EVENT_CREATE works properly. But in a
special case the function doesn't return an event ID although the return code
is 0. We're on 4.0B.
 
Any help and hints are appreciated !
