Sending a workflow message to an internet address

Hi,
It is best to maintain the user ID in SU01.
Transaction SO36 is for auto forwarding mail messages
from SAP office to Outlook.
 
As far as getting the message out, you need to
configure SAP connect and the Exchange connector, or
sendmail, but if you are on an NT platform, I strongly
recommend using the Exchange connector. Also you must
ensure that WF-Batch has an internet mail box on the
Exchange server.
