Workflow Appserver

Hi Guys,
 
       We are going to implement a high volume
workflow in out SAP-R/3 3.0F system. Currently the
system resources utilization is 70-80% approx.. Do we
need a separate workflow application server for high
volume workflow ? How can we asses the system
resources utilization for workflow only ? Any help
will be greatly appreciated.
