R/3 Backbone system Workflow and B2B system Workflow in the same inbox ?

I want to run R/3 Workflow and B2B Workflow in parallell and want the users
to get both types of Workflow in the same inbox.
Either in the R/3 backbone system inbox or the B2B-system inbox.
 
Is there any who has any experience in these area and know if this is
possible ?
Or is the only solution to connect both types of Workflow to the same office
tool (MS Outlook for exampel ) ?
