Material Master Workflow

A simple but usable solution. Try creating a custom workflow template with
triggering event 'created' for material master object. Install condition(s) for
material type if you have different requirements by material type. Then use a
simple 'edit' task with 'confirm end of processing' for each subsequent agent or
group of agents to maintain views. We have implemented this and it works quite
well.
