Delegation functionality in SAP Business Objects

I would be surprised if delegation works with more than one level.
 
If you can derive your lowest level object type from your second level one,
make the ShortPay object type a virtual attribute of your BSEG_MMIV child.

Hi all,
     We have developed ZWFIBSEGMM as a subtype of BSEG_MMIV. We also
delegated ZWFIBSEGMM to BSEG_MMIV. We have another object type
ZSHORTPAY which is a subtype of ZWFIBSEGMM. And ZSHORTPAY is the
delagated to ZWFIBSEGMM. Now, the methods of ZSHORTPAY are not
available in BSEG_MMIV. Delegation is not working in the same way as
the inheritance is working.
 
Any ideas
