Mass retirements of Fixed Assets (WS00000025)

Hi there everyone.
 
We're are trying to do a mass retirement of Fixed Assets and we've created a
work list and successfully started the workflow WS00000025, which was routed
to the proper agent, however, when that person executed the workflow item
out of the Worflow Inbox, it acted like it was completed but the assets were
not retired.
 
Am I missing something here?  How can I determined what really happened when
the workflow item was executed?   Below is the workflow report for your
reference.
