Thanks for your response Mike - let me add:
 
We have WF_BATCH set up and see WF_BATCH as the agent of
particular work items.  However we also noticed the WF MANAGER
for a step that is causing an error.  We never noticed this agent
name before and do not have that name in the address of WF_BATCH
- also this work item that is associated with WF MANAGER is
erring out - of which we can not determine why.
 
We were wondering if this was something new to  4.6B we arent
aware of and maybe causing this error?
