[Reporting-announce] MIT's upcoming upgrade to Cognos 11

Hello Everyone,

I'm emailing to let you know that Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) will be upgrading MIT's Cognos reporting platform to Cognos Analytics 11.1.7 this Saturday, May 7. The upgrade window will be from 1-3 p.m. During this time, Cognos Reporting at reports.mit.edu<http://reports.mit.edu/> and reports-test.mit.edu<http://reports-test.mit.edu/> will be unavailable. We will post upgrade progress to https://3down.mit.edu/incidents/zpjpryrd3nhk.

Note that your existing reports will continue to function as expected once the upgrade is complete and scheduled reports will run as planned. This upgraded version of Cognos supports all current browsers; use of Firefox ESR for building reports will no longer be required.
