[Reporting-announce] Tableau Upgrade

Hello All,

We will be upgrading MIT’s Tableau Server to version 2021.1.3 next week, on August 3rd. The upgrade will take place between 8:00pm and 12:00am. During this time, you will not have access to reports on Tableau server: tableau.mit.edu<http://tableau.mit.edu/>.

*For Mac users of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep Builder, there will be a Tableau change affecting older versions of each software. As of August 20, 2021, Tableau Desktop 2020.2.3 or earlier will no longer launch.

In order to continue using Tableau Desktop, you will need to install Tableau Desktop 2020.2.4 or later prior to August 20th. The same issue will affect Tableau Prep Builder 2020.2.3 and earlier. In order to continue using Tableau Prep Builder, please upgrade to 2020.3.1 or later prior to August 20th.
