Hello Everyone,

This month’s Third Thursday event will be hosted next week, on Thursday, October 19th. We will be covering the basics of Tableau, the visualization software. The topics we will cover are as follows:


  *   Connect to a data source
  *   Join tables
  *   Create a workbook
  *   Create calculations
  *   Filter and sort data
  *   Create a visualization of the data
  *   Create a dashboard / Use a
  *   Parameter
  *   Use Tableau Server

Prerequisite for hands-on exercises: Laptop with Tableau installed prior to the class and obtaining a Tableau license.
